Promoting your website with Charitable Marketing

Would you like more clients? Everyone does. The key to attracting new clients to your practice is to increase exposure for both you and your practice. People who are not aware of your practice obviously cannot book appointments with you. It’s up to you to find ways to increase the market awareness of your services.

Increasing your exposure can be done in a number of ways, most commonly through targeted marketing campaigns and word-of-mouth referral marketing. Another option, often overlooked by many people, is marketing through local charities and fundraisers.

Donating gift certificates to charitable organizations and non-profit events in your area is a very cost effective way to provide your practice with additional exposure in your local area – your primary target market. These organizations generally have a website, and will often have a sponsor page listing all the contributing local businesses (and ideally providing links to the sponsors’ websites). This can increase the number of people visiting your website to learn about you and your practice and eventually book appointments with you.

Charity auctions and fundraisers are another great source of local market exposure. Donating gift certificates to these events can also be valuable for your practice. Often these auctions will have a table with brochures and other marketing material, from all the businesses donating prizes, so make sure that your site is listed on all your marketing materials.

Remember, while it's always important to give back to your community, it can also be beneficial for your practice.
